A Look into the Pots

on

The tulips think it’s spring. It’s too cold to be spring. The temperature struggled to rise above 4C today, and tomorrow a NE wind is due. Feels more like a very long winter to me, but hope blooms eternal apparently because the tulips are blooming, the early daffodils are already finished, and my husband bought me potted herbs for the garden. This is a tradition – every spring he buys me a few pots of herbs. I hope your winter is quickly yielding to spring!

All the plants are confused by the weather…and has been too cold for them to be showing their faces…but all’s looking up now 🙂 Albeit that the weatherpeeps are saying it’s going to be colder…

Yes, long weekend means miserable weather. And they’re laying more shingle on Brighton beach, too. Always a sign of rubbish weather coming in!
