      That cuc will become a Danish pickle called an asier. Yum. The greenhouse is quite old. We’ve had it before our hairs turned grey!

    What is the green leaf with the purple Centre?

      It’s a type of oxalis, also called Iron Cross. Info here at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxalis_tetraphylla
