How To Make Mayonaise

That store-bought stuff isn’t mayo! A great video that’s perfect for learning this basic.

Oh God. Dangerous. I could almost live on boiled potatoes with homemade mayonnaise.

LOL! You and me both. That Hellman’s Light stuff just doesn’t do it for me.

  2. Homemade is the best. I make mine using an immersion blender and it’s made in under 30 seconds.

I use an immersion blender (handblender?) when I make large quantities but for small amounts I grab my balloon whisk. There’s something very satisfying about the sound of a wire whisk hitting a bowl. 🙂

I cannot watch vids, our connection is too slow, but I do make mandy’s mayo, (though i do not have an immersion thingy) and you are so right misky the home made stuff is just divine.. good idea to post this! c

There’s nothing new or revealing in the video, if you already know how to make mayo, but for someone who thinks they can’t do it … this shows how easy it is! 😀

  4. This was a great video.. she makes it so simple! But clearly I’m lazy.. the whole time I was thinking “mixmaster”!! xo Smidge

    1. Misky says:

Is a Mixmaster like a standmixer, the Kitchenaid type mixer? I’ve heard of Mixmaster before but not sure what it is.

Nothing is better than home made!

      Totally agree!
